In a "would you believe it" photograph, Class S-1-c Mikado No 3300 has just replaced the two unit set of F7 freight diesels that are heading for the servicing tracks in the background.
This train is westbound Symbol Freight No 409 departing Armstrong, Ontario on 30 January 1956 for a trip west over the Allanwater Subdivision to Sioux Lookout.
The snowplow in the left background has been recently used on the main and yard tracks here at Armstrong as they appear cleared of snow.
