Dear Sir:-

Referring to your Secret file S-34-9-2 (W&B) (LL), in connection with the acquisition of lands for Radio Station site at Bell Lake, NS; an option has now been obtained from T Percy Bell, covering the purchase of 26.8 acres of land for the station site, and an easement covering 0.33 acres for roadway, power and telephone lines, the Vendor desiring acess at all times over the easement from his farm buildings to his land which lies west of the said easement. The Vendor also requests that if and when this site is abandoned he has the opportunity to re-purchase same.

The consideration in the option is $5,7000.00, which is considered fair and reasonable.

Immediate acceptance may be taken upon acceptance of the option.

If this settlement is approved, will you please forward encumbrance to cover.
